How does it work?

The Matterport Pro 3D Camera uses lidar technology to accurately scan any environment. The lidar technology used in this camera is "an imaging laser scanner that offers longer range, higher accuracy, and outdoor performance in direct sunlight." In order to access these scans, you will need to upload them to Matterport's cloud. This is where your scans will be automatically stitched together to develop a 3D or virtual environment. Once your scan is stitched together, the final product is placed into your account where all of your Matterport Spaces will be held.
Once your space is developed, you have control of privacy and distribution security, streamline workflow engagement and collaborate with clients. You can also edit your models to include guided tours, take measurements, label rooms, and provide product details and contact information.
